Simply attach the BDop Shark Tooth to your
frame below the front derailleur so that it reaches out and
almost touches your small chainring.
The next time you drop your chain the Shark tooth will catch
it and stop the chain from falling onto your frame and possibly
getting wedged between the crank and the frame, damaging your
paint or gouging your carbon fiber.

Tooth Set Up
Set Up
When setting up your BDop SHARK TOOTH it's
important to get the tip of the SHARK TOOTH within 1mm of
the chain when it is on the small chainring.
If your BDOP
SHARK TOOTH is set up improperly it will not
work nearly as well and may cause your friends to point at
you and snicker.

BDOP CHAIN FALL DEVICE
The BDop Chain Fall Device comes with all the mounting hardware so it can be adapted to various front derailleurs and mounting brackets.
For this mount we had to use the curved washer and a longer fixing bolt (all provided).
The BDOP Chain Fall Device runs parallel to the chainring and has a small hook on the bottom so the chain can't slip off and get jammed between the bottom bracket and crankset causing damage to the paint and possibly your frame.
You can see here how close it can be set up so that the chain simply has no where to go.
Adding the BDop Chain Fall Device hasn't affected shifting performance and has so far been completely unnoticed. It's just waiting for its chance to catch a dropped chain and earn its keep.
