The X-TREME W285 V3 is an 85mm TT or Triathalon wheel that uses an aerodynamic 3D surface to reduce drag.

The front hub uses a narrow flange spacing for reduced drag.

The rear hub on the X-TREME W285 V3 uses and over-sized axle for reduced weight and drag.

The X-TREME W285 V3 features a UNIQUE 3in1 freehub so it is fast and easy to swap between Shiman, Sram and Campagnolo compatible freehub bodies.

This wheel features a carbon wrap that is structural, not just aesthetic. It also has an aluminum braking surface so that any brake pads can be used and braking performance will not suffer under adverse weather conditions.

The X-TREME J233 V3 wheels use a UNIQUE 3IN1 system which means the freehub can be swapped out, in a matter of minutes, between Shimano 8/9/10 spd, Campagnolo 9/10/11 spd and Sram 10/11spd using basic tools.

This is a good, all round wheelset especially for heavier riders. It is in the middle range for weight but the SAPIM LASER double butted spokes are laced 2 cross for added for durability.
